Manning Family Signs Deal with Caesars Sportsbook

Caesars Sportsbook has signed a sponsorship agreement with the NFL’s most prominent dynasty family. On Tuesday, Caesars announced a deal to feature Archie, Peyton, Eli, and Cooper Manning in its marketing campaigns and have them appear at live events and make commercial appearances.

It’s the first deal of its kind, involving an iconic professional football family. For the unaware, Patriarch Archibald Manning is a former NFL quarterback and two-time Pro Bowler, and he produced three sons who are also involved in the sport, both on and off the field.

According to a Caesars Entertainment , fan engagements will play a significant role in the agreement. In particular, Caesars Rewards will play a key part in giving fans the chance to interact with the Mannings as users move up through Caesars’ loyalty program.

“Now, not only will bettors earn Tier Credits and Reward Credits with every wager, but members will have the chance to interact directly with the Mannings in various way through upcoming activations.”

In addition, Caesars plans to leverage the Mannings’ fame to promote responsible gambling, providing resources for sports bettors to stay in control of their wagering. Caesars Sportsbook also provides responsible gambling tools that customers can use to set spending and deposit limits, control how much time they spend betting, and more.

Peyton Manning also expressed excitement for the deal and says the family looks forward to interacting with fans and fellow football lovers.

“We’re excited to partner with the team at Caesars Sportsbook. We’re looking forward to interacting with their customers who love sports and love football, and we know Caesars has a lot of fun initiatives planned. They place a strong emphasis on community impact, and we appreciate their support of causes that are important to us.”

Mannings Hope to End the ManningCast Curse

The new deal with Caesars Sportsbook comes at the same time as Peyton and Eli are making headlines for their participation in the ManningCast. The brothers are featured on ESPN2 during Monday Night Football where they watch the big game along with sports fans, commenting on the action as it happens.

The broadcasts are pretty interesting and often hilarious. However, they have also gained the dubious reputation for inflicting the ManningCast curse upon guests who appear on the show. Being the high profile family they are, the Manning have had no issues getting top players to appear on the show. Unfortunately for those appear on the program, they tend to have a knack for suffering losses and injuries following their appearances.

In Week 1, Travis Kelce appeared on the show for a Monday Night Football game, and the Chiefs fell the Ravens the following week. Russel Wilson also made an appearances in Week 1, only to suffer an injury and lose to the Titans the next week.

The next week, Rob Gronkowski was on, with the Buccaneers losing to the Rams the following week, and Gronk is now injured. The list goes on, with Matthew Stafford appearing on the show, followed by Tom Brady and Josh Allen. Each player’s team went on to lose its next game.

Athletes can be a superstitious lot, but whether or not future guests will show a little more hesitancy to make an appearance before an important game remains to be seen. The duo did not host ManningCast for Week 9, but they should be back soon for more Monday Night Football episodes. In the meantime, the Mannings seems to be running well, with their new Caesars sponsorship just the latest advertising deal they’ve managed to strike following a long lineup of advertising campaigns with brands as large as MasterCard, Papa John’s, and DIRECTV.
